    • Constructing an Evaluation Model for Core Competence of Clinical Nursing Teachers

      Objective To construct a framework and relevant evaluation items for evaluating the core competence of clinical nursing teachers. Methods We explored the whole frame of competence structure and established behavior items for evaluating competences with corresponding level-marking standards through theory analysis, literature study, expert consultation and a small sample test. We also investigated 237 nursing managers, teachers, and students from six medical schools in China using a 5-point Likert-type scale. Item analysis and factor analysis were performed to reveal competence construction and connotation, and the evaluation model for core competence of clinical nursing teachers were constructed. Results Content, structure and internal consistency coefficient were checked for validity. Cronbach's alpha of the total system was 0. 9109 and of each domain ranged from 0. 6064 to 0. 8474. Results of Split-half Reliability demonstrated that of total system was 0. 8765 and of each domain ranged from 0. 634 2 to 0. 8369. Conclusions The evaluation model for core competence of clinical nursing teachers is composed of three parts: competence domains, behavior items and their corresponding grade standards. Core competence of clinical nursing teachers consist of four domains:leadership ability, problem-solving ability, teaching ability and nursing ability, each of which contains several behavior items and corresponding four grades standards reflecting different abilities.

    • The Study about the Output of SCI Dissertation of PhD Postgraduate in Its Relation with Tutor in An Affiliated Teaching Hospital

      摘要:目的: 從醫學博士研究生SCI論文產出情況分析導師隊伍建設中的問題,為改革醫學博士研究生教育提供依據。 方法 :以某臨床附屬醫院2003年~2008年畢業的醫學科學學位博士研究生發表SCI論文情況及導師情況為研究對象,進行定量與定性分析。 結果 :導師所屬學科水平、科研經費、國外教育背景及科研管理工作等方面均對博士生SCI論文的產出有影響。 結論 :增強導師隊伍的科研能力和管理責任是完善導師隊伍建設的方向。Abstract: Objective: To found the questions of tutor construction on the basis of SCI dissertation of PhD postgraduate and provide the evidence for transforming the medical doctor education.〖WTHZ〗Methods :Quantitative and qualitative analysis was done on the basis of the condition of the tutor and the publication of SCI paper of PhD postgraduates from 2003 to 2008 in second clinical Medical college of Beijing University. Results : The factors affecting the publication of SCI paper of PhD postgraduate included academic level、research fund、abroad ducation background and reseach management of the teacher. Conclusion : The reseach capability and management duty of the tutor must be strengthened to improve the construction of the tutor.

    • Exploration and practice of “coordination of six priorities” teachers training system of standardized residents training

      Standardized residents training is a necessary way to cultivate qualified clinical physicians, and the teaching ability of their mentors will be a key factor affecting the quality of standardized residents training. In view of the problems existing in the current teachers training of standardized residents training, West China Hospital of Sichuan University has innovatively built a “coordination of six priorities” teachers training system to conduct hierarchical training for different types of mentors, in order to improve the quality and achieve homogenization of training. This article mainly elaborates on the problems in the current residents teachers training, the “coordination of six priorities” teachers training system of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and the effect of the teachers training.
