目的闡述經尿道前列腺切除術前后性功能隨訪過程中所遇到的具體問題，并探討其相關因素。方法 2011年3月－12月，采用面對面問卷調查和電話隨訪的方法，對四川省233例60～80歲前列腺增生患者進行下尿路癥狀評分和性功能情況調查，分析問題并提出對策。結果術前調查容易獲得可信結果，而術后的隨訪患者明顯不愿意配合。信件調查因各種原因難以進行；電話隨訪患者配合度差，對性功能問題感到窘迫而不愿意交談或不愿意深入敘述。結論在建立彼此信任的醫患關系基礎上進行面對面的問卷調查，是獲得經尿道前列腺切除術患者性功能真實情況的重要方式。
